About Oscar Education
TeenEagle is a worldwide competition that assesses the English language abilities of students aged 8 to 18. It consists of two main competitions – Online Rounds and Global Finals. The competition was founded by Oscar Education and has received accreditation and certification from Brooke House College, one of the leading colleges in the UK.
The Challenge
The competition held on February 4, 2023, was done in 3 sessions in 3 testing locations – London (UK), Bangkok (Thailand), and New York (USA). There were 2437 participants in total.
The experience was efficient and user-friendly for both the students and the teachers, thanks to the YouTestMe platform. Students were able to access the test via a personalized encrypted link, eliminating the need for a username or password. The certification process was also streamlined through YouTestMe’s online exam system. Teachers received an email notification with a link to the certificates, while students received an email notification with a link to their results and certificates. The certification was based on the percentage of correct answers, with students receiving an Honorable Mention, Bronze Medal, Silver Medal, or Gold Medal based on their performance.
YouTestMe’s customer support was also a key factor in the success of the competition. Students could reach out to the support team through chat or phone for fast assistance, while organizers could use WhatsApp for urgent inquiries. Thanks to the well-planned examination process, the technical issues students encountered were almost non-existent, so most of their questions were related to exam content.
