To create a new version of a question in a test, follow these steps:

 Edit the Question in a Pool

  1. Navigate to the Question Pools
  2. Locate the Pool Containing the Question
    Find the specific pool where the question you want to update is stored.
  3. Select the Edit Option
    Locate the question you want to update and click on the Edit option next to it.
  4. Make Necessary Changes
    Modify the question as needed, such as updating the text, changing the options, correcting the answer, and clicking the Save button.

Update a Test Version

To update a test version in YouTestMe, follow these steps to ensure that the latest version of questions is correctly applied.

  1. Identify Inactive Questions
    Navigate to the Manage Tests page and select the test you want to update. Then, go to the Questions section. The number of inactive questions will be displayed in the Inactive Questions column, indicating which questions require an update.
  2. Generate an Updated Version
    Click on the Generate Updated Version option. A dialogue box will appear, listing all inactive questions.
  3. Compare Question Changes
    In the Action column, click the Compare Question Changes icon. A new dialogue will display the differences between the previous version and the updated question, highlighting any modifications.
  4. Finalize the Update
    Click the Create button to confirm the changes. The updated version of the question will now appear in the test, ensuring that only the latest version is used.
