How to Export Test Statistics as a PDF

This article explains how to export test statistics as a PDF. This feature allows you to generate a detailed statistical report for the selected test version. The report provides insights into how candidates answered each question, along with key metrics at the test level, including median, mean, lowest, and highest scores. It is available for single-choice, multiple-choice, and true/false questions. Additionally, tests with sections can be fully exported, as well as surveys.

Accessing the Export Statistics Option

To access the Export Statistics option in the Tests menu, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Tests and choose Manage Tests.
  2. Select the desired test.
  3. Go to the Questions tab.
  4. Click the View button.
  5. Click the Export Statistics button.

Exporting Test Statistics as a PDF

Once you click the Export Statistics button, you will be presented with a detailed statistical report for the selected test version, such as:

  1. Test name and test version.
  2. Mean score – the average score obtained by all the test-takers.
  3. Median score – the middle value of all the scores.
  4. Low score – a score that is significantly below the average or expected range.
  5. High score – a score that is significantly above the average or expected range.
  6. Standard deviation – a measure of the variation or dispersion of a set of values.
  7. Export date.
  8. Selection % – the percentage of respondents who selected particular answers.
  9. No. Selection – the number of respondents who selected particular answers.
  10. Selection Distribution – shows how frequently each answer or option was chosen by the participants.

In the photo above, you can see that data statistics are available only for single-choice, multiple-choice, and true/false questions, whereas data for other types of questions, such as ordering questions, is not available.
