  2. Multiple Monitors – To use multiple monitors, you need to duplicate the display so that all monitors show the same content.
  3. Screen recording is disabled – You’re using a Mac and haven’t allowed the browser to record the screen.

Using Google Chrome #

Required Browser Permissions #

Ensure that the Window Management permission is enabled in the site settings:

  1. Click the Google Permissions settings button
  2. Select Site Settings.

Sharing the Screen during the Equipment check #

During the first step of the Equipment check, the system will prompt you to choose what to share. Please make sure to select the “Entire Screen” option.

  1. Choose the Entire screen tab.
  2. Click on the screen box.
  3. Click on the Share button.

NoteIf you are using multiple displays, make sure to duplicate them or disconnect the extra monitors.

Using Mozilla Firefox #

Sharing the Screen during the Equipment check #

  1. Click on the Retry button.
  2. Choose the Entire screen option from the Select Window or Screen drop-down.
  3. Click on the Allow button to permit screen sharing.

Resharing Your Screen During the Exam #

If screen sharing stops during your exam due to reasons such as an unstable internet connection or accidental interruption, follow these steps to resume sharing your screen:

  1. Notification to Reshare: When screen sharing stops, a notification will appear next to your video bubble, prompting you to share your screen again.
  2. Screen Sharing Dialog: Click on the notification to access the screen-sharing dialog specific to your browser.
  3. Select Entire Screen: Ensure you select the Entire Screen option in the dialog.
  4. Choose the Screen: Select the screen to activate the “Share” button.
  5. Complete the process by clicking the “Share” button.

This will restore screen sharing and allow you to continue the exam seamlessly.
