How to Customize Test Instructions Dialog

Article verified for Release 15.2 on February 2, 2026.

This article explains how to customize the Test Instructions dialog that candidates see before starting a test. Clear and well-configured instructions help candidates understand key details such as timing, scoring, and test rules. You can control which information is displayed and whether candidates must acknowledge the instructions before proceeding. The dialog can be customized both during test creation and after the test is created.

Creating a test

The following options are configurable:

  4. Displaying the previously defined test instructions that candidates can read before the test
  5. Displaying the passing mark required to be achieved by candidates to pass the test.
  6. Showing how many times candidates can retake the test (if the retaking is allowed).

Customizing the test instructions dialog through the Manage tests page
